How To Transition From Day To Date...

Transitioning out of "mommy mode" can be easy if you choose pieces that can be dressed up or easily dressed down. It's so important for me to be comfortable while I'm chasing London around! There's absolutely no way you'll catch me in heels during the day, but it is definitely fun to plan a date night for an excuse to dress up :)

This sweater from Zara is super roomy and comfortable but can totally transform into the perfect evening top if paired with a embellished necklace like this one from BaubleBar and a blazer! Black jeans can always be dressed up by just changing your footwear. I love my Nike Rosche's because they're literally like wearing slippers, but my Pour la Victoire tie-heels are perfect for a night out + they're less than $65 right now! I also switched from a cross body bag (since you need both hands with a toddler!) to a dressier bag like this Kate Spade one. You can take it or leave it with the hat ... Personally I think it makes the outfit complete and I like this one from Asos which is less than $35!

You can see my complete outfit details for each look below!
