Our baby girl is 10 (and a half!) months...and she's one summer-lovin' girl already! She is absolutely LOVING this amazing weather (as is her mommy), and we have been spending time going for walks, playing in the grass, and swinging at the playground! Her first birthday invites came in the mail yesterday, and I have been alternating between feelings of excitement and pure heartache. Her dad and I are having so much fun planning a special day ... but we also can't believe this time has come and our little 6 lb 12 oz baby is growing so fast. Bitter sweet I guess...
Lolo's tenth month has already been pretty eventful ... since she is now "furniture surfing" ... aka walking while holding on to the couch/coffee table/anything she can get her hands on ;) She is such a curious and busy little girl & she keeps me on my toes! She's also just becoming miss independent right before our eyes! She lets you know exactly what she wants and she's very vocal ;) ...girl after my own heart!
Favorite Food: Bananas. She loves them and can't gobble them up quick enough! She also tried salmon for the first time and loved it! This baby will literally eat anything :)
Favorite Thing To Do: Take all of her toys out of her basket, one by one...and then do it all over again! Haha! We do this all day ... London takes the toys out, mommy puts them back in for London to take out again! Hasn't gotten old yet ;)
Most Aww-Worthy Moment: Do I have to pick just one? Haha .... I feel like she does something that melts my heart everyday! Lately, when she wakes from her afternoon nap, she is super cuddly and still a little sleepy. She will lay her head on my chest and rock with me as I sing to her. It only lasts for about 10 minutes, but it's the best ten minutes of my day :)
Most Exciting Thing She Did: She's standing so easily now, and like I mentioned above, walking while holding onto things! I don't think it's long before we see her take those first few steps, in which case I will guzzle an entire bottle of wine! (Kidding, Mom!)
Biggest Thing I've Learned: I've been trying to live in the present. When I think about how quickly the time has gone it legit makes me sad ... so I have been trying to just enjoy TODAY with London and every day I get with her, rather than dwell on how big my baby is getting!
