For those of you who have never participated in a "spin class" or indoor cycling, this post is for you :) I'm a big fan of spinning for a lot of reasons, but the two that come right to mind are #1. I love to sweat, and I always leave class drenched and feeling like my trip to the gym was worth it, and #2. I once had to lose a few pounds quickly for a modeling gig ... so I took a spin class every morning for two weeks + my goal was accomplished - proof that it's effective :)
I recently participated in a class at my gym, Healthworks called "Pulse Cycle." which made me fall back in love with cycling (Not so much the bike seats, which are just as uncomfortable as I remember!) It was 45-minutes long, which for me is perfect. Thirty minutes is too short and an hour is too long ... so 45 minutes seemed just right, and it was! These days, I need any additional motivation that I can get, so to have an instructor coaching me along was much appreciated! The workout was set to upbeat music, which always helps too. One of the best parts about this whole scenario, is that I actually made it through the ENTIRE workout without being called to the Kids Club where my daughter was! I'm not going to lie, about half-way through when I could barely breathe and my legs were on fire, I was almost hoping they would call me ;)
I hope you all have an amazing weekend planned! I'm hoping to stick around Boston, since we've been gone the past few weekends! I need a full weekend home with the hubby + little one to recharge and catch up on some much needed family time!

- Toned legs + a round toosh (amen!)
- Low impact, but extremely effective
- Pedal to awesome heart-pumping music!
- You'll leave spin class with MORE energy + dripping with sweat (also a great feeling!)
