I'm always looking for a good life hack to simplify the every day. When I was pregnant and living in downtown Boston, we started using a grocery delivery service and I thought it was super life-changing. Now that I'm a mom, doing groceries with London is considered one of our weekly "outings," so the service went out the window. I was finding it difficult, however, to plan meals and was often too tired to come up with fresh recipes or ideas. I'd heard of at-home meal delivery companies from some of my friends but they always complained that it took them so long to prepare the meal. With a toddler, I needed something quick, easy, HEALTHY but still yummy!
When I discovered Dinner Thyme, I was so excited to try the meals; mainly because the prep AND cook time is only 10-15 minutes, but also because they had a variety of recipes to choose from! I chose four different dinners which included one pasta dish, shrimp tacos, a chicken dish with arugula salad, and pork medallions. I wanted to make sure that I got a little sample of what each meal would look / taste like so I could give you guys a really good review. I have to say, the prep/cook time is exactly what they advertise. The fresh ingredients come in individual packets that are marked clearly so you know which meal they belong too. All of the hard work is done for you (aka the chopping/prep), which is why it takes such a short time to cook!
Not only is the prep time short, but the meals are SO yummy! It makes me look forward to cooking dinner! My husband was really impressed too, since he was my taste-tester :) The cool thing about Dinner Thyme is that it's the only meal-delivery service that offers the option of ordering single portions! I love that because Chris is gone a lot for work, so for the weeks he is gone I can order single portions instead of being stuck with more food than I know what to do with!
I am so glad I get to share this service with you all! If you're interested in learning more about the service for yourself and/or your family, check it out here.
